I led worship all week long. During our prayer gathering, I played a new song:

1. Let Us Walk

For the past couple of weeks I’ve been working at Mt. Hope Bible Camp, pastoring and leading worship. I’ve had the privilege also to preach at two churches locally — Challenge Community Church and Rackerby Community Church — meeting people from those two communities. Each time, I’ve preached on the “Sermon on the Plain” (Luke 6:17-42). My idea is that if we simply live out Christ’s words, the world would be transformed… but we must live out his teachings. For many, that is the problem. “Who can really live out Christ’s teachings?” But Jesus did teach. He did offer us hope of a better life. He begins, though, with, “But I tell you who hear me…”

“You who hear me…”

Let us have ears that hear and hearts that believe.
