For eight weeks this summer, I visited friends in Africa, sojourning in Bangui, Central African Republic (most of the month of June) and Niamey, Niger (most of the month of July). I recorded a few videos there of some of my songs, which are presented below.

“Redemption” — A Johnny Cash cover

“Credo” — An arrangement of an Edwin Arlington Robinson poem of the same name

“Lord Jesus Christ” — An original song, based on the “Jesus Prayer”

“Amazing Grace” — A folk arrangement of this classic hymn

“Doxology” — A new, lively arrangement of the doxology

“Till He Comes Around” — An original song

“Grace of God” — An original song

“Let Us Walk” — An original song

The following songs were recorded in Niamey, Niger.

“Let Me Know Mine End” — An original song

“What is Love?” by Dennis McGee (RealLoveRocks.org)

“Jesus is the Way” — An original song, partially recorded during a worship service in Niger

I’m experimenting with SoundCloud’s services. Here’s a remixed version of my demo album, The Lesser Brother. I recorded it a couple of years back with Joey Johnson and Lu Hughes (formerly of Johannes) in Brookings, Oregon. Please enjoy:
